How are you all doing?

I'm doing pretty well, myself.. Recently got into some new music: Vampire Weekend. They have become my favorite band (as of right now, favoritism with music is a constant cycle for me) .
I upgraded some of my software on my mac, and have been playing around with iMovie, making a video blog. I have the first one on my facebook, but i plan on putting it up on youtube.. But, i've yet to create an account.
I've been in a pretty good mood today; and very hyper as well. I spent most of my day recording things, and watching movies.. Picked up Star Trek this morning at 8am and watched it as soon as i got back home. Also, I picked up the new movie UP.. Which, i have to say, is one of Pixar's better films.. I really enjoyed it.

Books: I'm reading a book called Outer Dark, by Cormac McCarthy (The writer of The Road, which has been turned into a film that is in theaters on the 24th this month.. I CAN'T WAIT).. anyways Outer Dark is about a woman and her brother somewhere in Appalachia that accidentally had a child (wrong, i know).. anyways the brother takes the baby out to the woods and leaves him for nature to have it's way with him and he tells the woman the baby died of natural causes, so he buried him (lie). She finds out, and goes out looking for the baby, and he goes out looking for his sister. The dialect is really hard to follow, very southern, and very uneducated.. But otherwise, it turns out to be a really really really good book. Read it.

Well, take it easy everyone.. I'm going to go have some soup.

  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: Vampire Weekend
  • Reading: Outer Dark
  • Watching: Malcolm In the Middle
  • Playing: MW2
  • Eating: Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Drinking: Ginger Ale

Right now, I'm a stay at home writer.. if that's the proper term for it. I have no job as of now, sadly.. Job market isn't very good down here. I'm into all kinds of music, mostly techno, and indie rock, and such. I used to do graphic design, but I haven't touched photoshop or illustrator in months. I'm a DJ in my spare time, and go by the name DjShazbot (Shazbot being the common word Mork would say (from Mork and Mindy))
